Every year people who care about assessment for learning gather on Vancouver Island to learn more, share their work-in-progress, and link to current research and theory. The purpose of this ever growing “think tank” is to build capacity in the critical area of assessment for learning. Until 2005, the Symposium was sponsored by Anne Davies and Classroom Connections International. Beginning in July 2006, the annual July Assessment Symposium is now co-sponsored by the International Assessment Consortium and Connections Publishing. Members will receive access to the limited number of seats as well as discounts on their registration fees.
