An opportunity for school leaders to delve into proven methods for successfully focusing the school environment on the needs of the learners, the sessions are designed to:

• keep leaders current on the latest developments in the field and on what is working in other schools and systems


• consider ways to overcome the barriers to implementing assessment for learning initiatives


• examine the leader’s role in helping colleagues transform grading practices and promote deep learning throughout their schools and systems


• consider ways to work with qualitative evidence, as well as numerical data, to best account for the learning actually taking place within your school or system


• explore practical ways for leaders to use assessment for ADULT learning
